Gray's School of Art (Robert Gordon University)

Gray's School of Art is one of Scotland's four art schools and is an integral part of Robert Gordon University (RGU) in Aberdeen.

Founded in 1885 by local businessman and philanthropist John Gray, the Art School was originally housed in the building adjacent to the Aberdeen Art Gallery on Schoolhill (now RGU offices).

The School portfolio covers a wide range of specialist subjects found within the breadth of Design and Fine Art disciplines. Within each course students have the opportunity to specialise and focus their study within their core discipline area, thus allowing for greater creative diversity and development of their expertise. There are six undergraduate application routes into the School representing the core disciplines through which greater specialism occurs.
