Elisha Smith-Leverock (she/they) is a director and photographer. Known for tackling topics of representation and gender with depth and sensitivity. They are known for award-winning pieces such as their NOWNESS short ‘Triple Beam Dream’ for Bronx collective Ghetto Gastro and their short doc Miss Black Germany, which has gone on to win several awards and has screened at prestigious festivals like BlackStar. Most recently, Elisha ventured into episodic television, directing episodes of Black Fruit, a critically acclaimed 8-part dramedy that premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Festival.
