Born in Kuala Lumpur, raised in London Katherina is a creative leader with over 20 years’ experience creating brands for clients like the Science Museum, Cambridge University, Historic Royal Palaces, and the BBC. With a passion for design that delivers a positive social impact, she has worked on many projects in the arts, culture, education and non-profit sectors. She began her career at johnson banks, later joined The Partners, then Superunion, and now leads a creative team at Design Bridge and Partners London.

A regular awards judge and industry speaker Kath has served on numerous D&AD juries and has served as Jury President for both Professional and New Blood Awards. She has appeared on stage at the D&AD festival presenting award winning work and appearing on panel discussions.

With more than a dozen D&AD pencils under her belt, her rebrand work for BBC Two and Shakespeare’s Globe took home a combo of three Silver Cannes Lions and three D&AD awards including a coveted Yellow Pencil. In 2023 she led the brand identity for the Eurovision Song Contest, hosted by Liverpool on behalf of Ukraine, a project which received The Clio’s highest honour: a Grand award.

Kath's passionate advocacy for diversity in creativity has been recognised by D&AD's members, who elected her to the Board of Trustees in 2016 where she served for three years. A graduate of Central Saint Martins, Kath has a keen interest in design education, leading Design Bridge and Partners programmes with D&AD New Blood and Shift to promote emerging creative talent. She is a regular visiting lecturer and has served as an external examiner and advisory board member for UK arts universities.
