Angie Tijam-Tohid

Angie Tijam-Tohid is Creative Director & Head of Content at Ace Saatchi & Saatchi,
Philippines. Before joining advertising, she was a radio DJ and newscaster for some of
Manila's most popular FM stations, and continues to lend her voice to her projects.

In her two decades in the industry, she has handled numerous global and local brands,
worked at Ogilvy and TBWA in the Philippines, and Grey Group, Malaysia. She has
garnered local and international awards in creativity and effectiveness, and served as a
juror for some of the world’s most prestigious creative awards shows and competitions
like Spikes Asia, Cannes Lions, Cannes Young Lions, and One Club for Creativity’s
Young Guns.

In between being a sought after panelist in local industry events and a contributing writer
for a regional publication in marketing and advertising, Angie also has served as a
Director in the Creative Guild Board, and was the recent Creative Panel Head in the
Philippine Agency of the Year Management Committee.

Passionate about learning, she has mentored Fine Arts students at the University of the
Philippines, Diliman and was a professor at De La Salle College of St. Benilde, School of
Design and Arts. And has ventured into transforming an abandoned school into a platform
for artists and writers in her home province.
