Elise leads communications agency word-design, offering a rare mix of strategy, design and writing services, with specialist expertise in brand voice and identity. Clients include Dishoom, PEN International, Fine Cell Work, shift.ms and Arvon. With an agency career spanning design, creative direction and consultancy, Elise is now mostly a writer. She is a board director of writers' organisation 26 and former external examiner for the MA in Professional Writing at Falmouth University. She is an award-winning author—her most recent novel is The Madonna of the Mountains—and she teaches creative writing at Central Saint Martins, Guardian Masterclasses and Faber Academy. Elise is also an indie film producer, and was honoured as Trailblazer by the Edinburgh International Film Festival. Drawing on 20+ years of writing and teaching experience, Elise's new book about creative writing will be published in 2021.
