Mariana studied acting at the Theatre School Célia Helena for three years but decided to work as a copywriter. From 1997 to 2005 she worked in agencies like Ogilvy, F/Nazca and Lew,Lara TBWA. After a career of almost ten years , she understood the acting classes and also all those spots she had made were a clue that she wanted to be a director.
As a director, she returned to the origins and studied acting direction in Los Angeles, Chile and Sao Paulo. Directed campaigns for J&J , Rolling Stone, Fiat, Sky , Natura and Samsung . In the feature films, the most recent project is the short B- Flat, shot in India and exhibited in 2014 at the International Festival of Brasilia International Festival of Cairo, Egypt and Madrid International Film Festival.
She won a Silver Lion (Film) in Cannes Festival with the spot “Steves” to Rolling Stone Magazine for La Comunidad Argentina.
In Brazil Mariana is one of the co-founder and director at Barry Company.
And in UK and USA she has being working as a director at Merman.
