Teo is the Vice President of Design at Airbnb, providing strategic vision and leadership for all aspects of design. Known for her ability to enact change within the design and tech industries, she has been vital in transforming Airbnb's design team, integrating design into every part of the business, and building a culture that values high craft, simplicity, and delight. She and her team work on ambitious and innovative products and features to expand and improve the experience for Airbnb's community of guests and hosts.
Before joining Airbnb, Teo was at Apple's Human Interface Design team, leading design for products with far-reaching impacts, including Apple Card (product and hardware), Apple Cash, and numerous Apple Watch faces. Her contributions also extended to innovations in iOS and macOS, earning her several patents in the process. Teo started her career in the UK, where she held roles at leading London agencies and founded her own studio. She has been involved in numerous initiatives supporting under-represented groups by mentoring young creatives and those from non-traditional pathways. Teo is committed to leveraging design for good and making Airbnb's design team among the best in the world.
