Peiqi "Peggy" Duan, MPSE
Born and raised in Shanghai, China, Peggy began her career in sound design since 2012.
She is a multi-award winning sound designer & supervisor and currently works at Tencent, IEG Domestic Publishing Line, Eco-System Development Department as Sound Designer.
She graduated from the best film school in China, Beijing Film Academy, and finally she decided to widen her horizon in Hollywood. During her study at Chapman University, Motion Picture Sound Editors honored her with a nomination for outstanding achievement in Sound Design and Foley Artistry at the 64th Golden Reel Awards.
As a professional sound designer, she tried to expand her career both in China and the US. Her works include top box office movie “Ne Zha”, Netflix feature “Lady Driver”, short film "Thicker Than Water", documentary "Why We Dance", Commercials for Xiaomi, JD and etc. She has been invited to several awards festivals as jury, such as Golden Reel Awards, Golden Lion International Advertising Awards and D&AD Awards.
