Suze Barrett has been a cover designer at the German news magazine DER SPIEGEL since 2011. Before that she worked as executive creative director in advertising, mainly for Scholz & Friends in Hamburg and Zurich. Prior to going into publishing Suze Barrett was appointed professor of Communication Design and Advertising at the University of Mainz. She has won more than two hundred awards for her creative work for international advertising clients and for the DER SPIEGEL cover department and has been a jury member of Germany's Art Director's Club since 2010.
