Born in 1981, Ken Lo is the founder and design director of award-winning design studio, BLOW. He is also the designer of Hong Kong's Victoria Harbour icon. At BLOW, Ken applies his unique visual aesthetic to provide clients with mind-blowing design in a simple and bold approach that helps their brands stand out in a crowd. He has amassed a client list that includes 7-Eleven, AIA, Apple Inc., Amorepacific, Bank of China, Citibank, Clinique, Sulhuasoo, PHILLIPS, W Hotel, and more.
He has won over 100 international and local design awards including One show, Tokyo TDC, Global Design Awards. He was selected as “The Design Hot 25” - the 25 Hong Kong city’s top talents you need to know by Time Out Magazine. He was the judge of Dieline Awards in U.S., Topawards Asia in Japan and GDC Awards in China.
His works have been featured in various worldwide design media including Computer Arts, Designboom, étapes, HOW, IDEA, Idn, novum, Wallpaper* Magazine Thai Edition. He was the speaker in the “Dieline Conference 2015” in How Design Live and "Packaging Design Talk" by Wallpaper* Magazine Thai Edition 2017.
His latest initiative, “More Hugs by Ken Lo”, aims to instill change through its refreshing earnestness as well as being a meditative reflection of Ken’s personal history and his unique view on the world. The project has been exhibited in “Graphic Matters” design festival in Breda, the Netherlands, the “Shanghai Visual Art and Design Exhibition” in 2017, as well as the "More Hugs by Ken Lo" solo exhibition in Xian, China.
