With a Master’s degree in Communication Studies, Intercultural Communication and Advertising Psychology, Heiko’s first job after he left university was at AlmapBBDO in São Paulo, Brazil.
His passion and curiosity also enabled him to work as a Copywriter and Creative Director in England, Spain, Portugal and Germany for agencies such as Springer & Jacoby, Ogilvy & Mather and DDB. He created campaigns for clients including Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Audi, edding and Pepsi.
With over 350 national and international awards (One Show, D&AD, Cannes, CLIO, LIA, Eurobest, and many others) Heiko is a member of D&AD and ADC Germany, whose jury he belonged to several times.
Heiko loves travelling, art and Mannemer Dreck. He lives in Hamburg with his wife Melanie and their daughters Clara and Luisa.
