Julia Knight has been cutting edge in editing over the past decade. As a graduate in Fine Art from Chelsea School of Art, an accomplished musician and dancer with an all round appreciation of the Arts, it's no surprise Julia’s editing portfolio is far-reaching.
Julia’s spectrum of work stretches from emotive Commercials such as ‘Versus Arthritis’ directed by Tom Tagholm, to Fashion, Jake Nava's 'Balmain F/W 2018' Campaign, Music Videos like Mick Jagger’s 'Gotta Get a Grip' and long form Dance, such as FKA Twigs' ‘Soundtrack 7.' Her work in Short Films, Features, Commercials and Music, demonstrate how clear truth and emotional storytelling is the primary drive for Julia.

Her work has earned recognition from awards such as The British Arrows, Craft Awards, UKMVAs,The APA Awards, NME Awards, The Clios, Cyclope and Kinsale Awards, and Sundance Film Festival. Along with these her edit on Arctic Monkey’s ‘Arabella’ directed by Jake Nava, was noted for “Most groundbreaking or influential editing” in the '50 Years of British Music Videos,' within the BFI’s National Film Archive.
Over her 12 year career, Julia has collaborated with a broad array of talented directors such as Tom Tagholm, Scott Lyon, Jake Nava, Richard Curtis, Nabil Elderkin, Daniel Wolfe, Saam Faramund, Georgi Banks-Davies, Dawn Shadforth, Tim Pope, Shynola and WIZ, to name just a few.
