Grew up in Nara, Japan’s oldest capital, drawn to Chaplin’s films, Michael Jackson’s Thriller, and Carl Lewis’s sprinting as a child. Entered university to study liberal arts and technology but spent more time surfing than studying. Started out in film production before founding projector inc., a branding studio in 2004. Helped shape branding, spanning clothing, technology, and the essential tools we often take for granted. Starting ONCE in 2025, a brand that sheds light on everyday experiences. Perhaps due to my slight autistic tendencies, I have always been drawn to patterns in motion and communication. Served as a jury member for D&AD, New York ADC, and other international awards.
