Steve started production company Revolver with co-founder and managing director Michael Ritchie in
Sydney in 1998.
Since then, Revolver has been awarded Australian production company of the year by AWARD eight
times, including the last three years consecutively. Revolver has also been named runner up in the
Palme d’Or at Cannes Lions and ranked in the top four production companies globally by D&AD.
Steve is consistently recognised amongst the top 10 directors in the world. His accolades include a
titanium lion at Cannes, as well as numerous Gold Lions, D&AD yellow pencils, Golds at the One Show, a
Clios Grand Prix, a Ciclope Grand Prix, best in show at AICP and multiple awards at LIA and Spikes. He
has received nominations from both the DGA and the Emmy’s and was named Australian Director of the
year by AWARD for 2021 and 2022. His most recent work includes campaigns for John Lewis Christmas,
Cadbury, AT&T, Nike, Postmates, Old-Spice, Amazon, NRMA and TurboTax.
Steve’s star-studded ‘Dundee’ Super Bowl campaign for Tourism Australia was awarded Australia’s first
ever Gold Logie for a commercial and received 3 Golds, 2 Silvers and a Titanium Lions at Cannes, whilst
his film ‘Starr Park’ for Brawl Talk, the YouTube talk show for Supercell’s most popular game, ‘Brawl
Stars’ quickly became the most watched episode ever, racking up 26 million views in just a few days and
was awarded 2 Yellow Pencils at D&AD and a Grand Prix for Craft at Ciclope.
Steve is represented by Biscuit in both the UK and US and much of his work is a co-production between
Biscuit and Revolver.
