Keith Cartwright was named by Adweek Magazine as the 50 top Creatives in the business, and by Campaign Magazine as top 10 Most Influential People in Advertising. Keith Cartwright is currently the Founder and CCO of CARTWRIGHT a WWP backed agency built on the principle of Creative Audacity, an ideal committed to bring brave ideas to bold clients. He is also Co-Founder of SATURDAY MORNING, an organization built on using creativity to shift negative perceptions in the African American community. Keith previously held the position as Executive Creative Director at 72 and Sunny LA responsible for creative across all brands. Currently Keith is the President and CCO of CARTWRIGHT a WPP backed creative agency located in Los Angeles.
In 2011 Keith founded UNION MADE CREATIVE where he was the CCO and Founder. Since opening in 2011 UNION garnered awards and media attention throughout its client roster, which included NikeLA, GE, Lego, and the San Francisco Film Society. Keith’s relationship with Nike was responsible for helping redefine Nike West, and launched #keepbuilding, the well-recognized campaign for the Lego brand breaking gender stereotypes in the toy category.
Prior to UNION Keith was SVP Group Creative at the Martin Agency in Richmond, Virginia. Prior to that he was Creative Director at Wieden+Kennedy, New York where he led the Jordan Brand account along with Nike Canada, and Nike New York. Keith was responsible for launching “Become Legendary” for the Jordan Brand which helped them in reaching a billion dollars in sales for the first time in its history.
From 2004 -2006 Keith was a Creative Director at TBWA Chiat Day, responsible for the Adidas Brand, Ray Ban, Persol, and Motorola. During his tenure they were recognized by Cannes as Agency of the Year and Adidas was recognized as Advertiser of the year.
Keith has been awarded and recognized by every major awards organization in his field including; The One Show, Clio’s, AICP, AIGA, Addys, Art Directors Club, The London and New York Festivals and D&AD and Cannes.
Keith is also a 3 time Emmy award winner.
