Frances is responsible for innovation in both client and business strategy across PHD and the OMG UK group covering PHD, OMD, MGOMD, M2M and Rocket as well as specialist services such as Drum and Fuse. Frances’s role involves the development of solutions that meet new, existing or inarticulate needs through more effective products, services, technologies or ideas
Frances started her career in 1994. She has run media accounts in the UK, a start up in Australia as MD of the creative/brand agency Naked; became MD of PHDUK 2011 and is now PHD’s first ever Chief Strategy &Innovation Officer with a remit to add the advantage of change to our business and our client base, this has now extended to the OMG UK Group.
Frances started her career in media as a planner / buyer in 1994 and was taught her trade by Sue Unerman (epic planner). Her first spell with PHD commenced in 1997 rising to Managing Partner at her departure in 2007 when she moved to Australia, retraining as a brand strategist and becoming MD of the Melbourne agency Naked. Frances returned to the UK in 2011 and re-joined the team at PHD as MD, by the end of 2011 PHD had been awarded all three media agency of the year accolades and retained the Campaign agency of the year award in 2012.
Frances is a member of both the OMG and PHD boards, chairs the OMGUK Digital Leadership Group and sits on the IPA Media Futures group, is a member of the APG leadership committee and is a ‘WACLer’. In 2015 Frances was named Campaign’s number one media Media Planner in the UK.
