Marcus Walters is a graphic artist and designer of many disciplines. Since graduating from Central St Martin's School of Art in London he has art directed magazines, founded a graphic design agency, launched his own fashion and homewares brands, exhibited artwork at galleries and collaborated with some of the biggest brands in the world.
Marcus's work is easily identifiable by his reductive graphic style and colourful optimistic imagery. Typography, drawing and illustration intertwine to create joyful images while his pattern designs are feature multi-layered abstract compositions - a nod to his training as a graphic designer.
Marcus has collaborated with many brands over the past few years designing products for John Lewis Graniph, Levi’s and Uniqlo to name a few and currently has work in the Tate, V&A Museum, Habitat and John Lewis in the UK. Marcus's extensive commercial client list includes BBC, Penguin, Honda, Amnesty International, The Fair Trade Foundation, Howies and Innocent Smoothies to name a few. Marcus recently launched In House - an outlet for his collaborative surface pattern design and artwork with his partner, Hayley.
