Catharine Brandy

After studying design and illustration at college, Catharine worked as a graphic designer in Canada for over a decade, followed by a move to the UK where she continued her career as a freelance designer.

Since joining the Royal Mail as a design manager for stamps in 2001, she has been passionate about conveying the stories of British history and culture on the tiny canvas of postage stamps.

Over the course of her career, her work has earned honours in the UK and internationally, including recognition in D&AD, Design Week, AOI, Drum and Art Directors Club of New York awards, and has been published in Creative Review, Graphis and Communication Arts.
