Sulekha Rajkumar is an independent type designer, lettering artist, and graphic designer. She graduated from Sir J.J. Institute of Applied Art and previously worked at Ray+Keshavan | Brand Union as Senior Design Director. She specializes in Bengali and Latin scripts, collaborating with type foundries like Ek Type and Typotheque. Her fonts Baloo Da, Sama Latin, and Anek Bangla are available on Google Fonts and Apple.
Sulekha has spoken at design conferences such as Typographics, TypeWknd, and DesignUp, and conducted workshops on lettering, type design, and branding. She has also taught at Srishti Institute of Design. Her work has been featured in Eye Magazine, Typism, Dieline, and she has received awards including Graphite and Wooden Pencils at D&AD, Bronze at One Show, Communication Arts, Black and Blue Elephants at Kyoorius Design Awards, and TDC certificate of Typographic Excellence.
