Paris-based editor Tianès Montasser works not only on a wide range of formats which include music videos, commercial and fiction, but also with an international array of directors and artists. She is best known for her music video projects with Christine & The Queens, Kid Laroy, Robyn, Isaac Delusion, Mashrou Leila, Sigrid or even Major Lazer and Nicky Minaj.
Tianès, who is of Egyptian and Dutch descent, is a unique and exceptional editor. She is committed and passionate, and her project choices reflect her affiliation with the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as the meaning she finds in everything she undertakes. By dint of it and her creativity, she won a place as a writer on different future projects she's working on. She proudly embodies the role of a storyteller.
As she worked on different fiction projects, including French TV show Skam Fr season 7 to 10, she edited her first feature length film in 2022 called AKA and directed by Morgan S.Dalibert. AKA was the 3rd non english film most viewed on Netflix after 28 days of release, worldwide. However she also worked on a feature length documentary “Jane par Charlotte” directed by Charlotte Gainsbourg, premiered at Cannes Film Festival in 2021 and was nominated at Les Césars.
Above all, Tianès’ passion for editing has always been driven by the emotions and narratives within each story she tells.
