Seongphil Hwang is a Creative Director at Cheil Worldwide, where he has produced campaigns for Samsung Electronics, Chevrolet, Burger King, and Uniqlo.
To showcase a broader range of creativity to the world, he creates campaigns that provide new brand experiences across various consumer touchpoints.
With the 'Knock Knock' campaign, he became the first in Korea to win the Grand Prix in
the Glass category at the 2023 Cannes Lions. 'Knock Knock' ranked fourth in the 2023 global advertising campaigns ranking released by WARC.
Through campaigns such as 'Knock Knock (2023)', 'Hope Tape (2021)', 'Firevase (2019)', 'Heattech Window (2017)', and 'Morning Like a King (2015)', he has collected over 200 awards at international advertising festivals such as Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clios, New York Festivals, LIA, and The One Show.
In the 2023 Campaign Brief Asia Creative Rankings, he was ranked first.
He also served as a jury member at the 2017 Clio Awards (Branded Entertainment & Branded Content) and the 2024 Cannes Lions (Brand Experience & Activation).
