Aoshi KUDO｜Designer / Creative director

Kudo was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1964. He graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music in 1988 and joined Shiseido’s advertising division. Kudo was transferred to Paris in 1992, where he spent 4 years. Kudo established Communication Design Laboratory (CDL) with Keiko Hirano in 2005. Kudo’s remarkable scope of art work covers creative direction and design of products, packages ,space for Cosmetic brand which is“qiora”, “SHISEIDO MEN”, “SHISEIDO PROFESSIONAL”and“IPSA”,Creative direction of Mitsukoshi gift promotion, Communication design of OPAM (Oita Prefectural Art Museum).
prizes: GOLD Pentawards, iF Design Award, Excellent Design Award from US Architects Association New York, ID-Award, Gold Prize at the New York Festival, 2001 Mainichi Design Award, Tokyo ADC member Award, Japan Package Design Grand Prize New York ADC Silver Prize, Japan Display Design Grand Prize, among many others. Kudo also serves as part-time lecturer at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music.
