Pete Baker has been a member of The Glue Society, the independent creative collective based in Sydney and Wellington, since graduating as the national 1st Place student at AWARD School in 2004.
Pete is responsible for directing many international award-winning experiential and film campaigns including the recent ‘Grave of Thrones’ for Foxtel; GAYTM’s’, ‘GAYNZ’, ‘Hold Tight’, ‘Signs of Love’ and ‘LoveSpeech’ campaigns for ANZ; ‘The Unforgotten Soldiers’ for The History Channel and the ‘The Hearing Test in Disguise’ for Cochlear amongst many others.
He has also written and directed campaigns for clients including UberEats, IKEA, Bankwest, BT Financial Group, Headspace and Bonds.
He was one of the directors of ‘Watch With Mother’, the first TV series to be created specifically for an app.
He graduated from Central St. Martin’s in London (Graphic Design) and also studied Direction for Live Performance at NIDA in Sydney.
He has lived in New Zealand since 2017 and continues to work in NZ and internationally.
