Nuno Alves is a Global Brand Design leader with a passion for crafting immersive consumer experiences for some of the world’s most iconic brands. With a career spanning agency and client-side leadership across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, he has continuously pushed the boundaries of design, shaping brands that resonate deeply with consumers.

His journey began with the launch of a thriving boutique design agency in Lisbon, delivering groundbreaking solutions to leading Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) brands. This entrepreneurial foundation led him to Landor Associates, where he developed comprehensive brand identity systems for a diverse range of global clients, further refining his expertise in strategic design.

At Coca-Cola, Nuno spearheaded Packaging, Shopper Marketing, Portfolio Activations, and Sustainability initiatives across ASEAN and the South Pacific, including work in the emerging alcohol sector. Collaborating with top creative agencies worldwide, he championed Design at Scale, ensuring high-impact campaigns that seamlessly aligned with both business goals and consumer engagement.

At Restaurant Brands International (RBI), he led Global Brand Design for Burger King, Tim Hortons, Popeyes, and Firehouse Subs, driving brand affinity, design methodologies, and innovation—particularly through Generative AI—to set new industry benchmarks.

Beyond his professional work, Nuno is deeply committed to giving back to the creative community. Through his new mentorship platform, he is creating pathways for creative professionals to thrive, innovate, and elevate their craft, believing that great design has the power to make the world a better place. A strong advocate for Agile and Inclusive Design, he has mentored talent across the industry, fostering a culture of continuous learning, trust, and creative excellence.

Now, as a D&AD 2025 Judge for the Brand Identity Refresh category, Nuno is excited to celebrate boundary-pushing work and inspire the next generation of creative leaders.
