Matthew Brink
Matthew Brink started his career in South Africa as a copywriter. After bouncing around a few agencies he settled at Lowe Bull in Johannesburg. During these years he created the iconic Axe “Get A Girlfriend” Campaign.
After achieving all of his career goals in South Africa he set off for the bright lights of New York City to work at BBDO New York.
Three years later he got an offer he couldn’t refuse and returned to South Africa to take up a joint Executive Creative Director position at TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris.
Over the years he has created compelling work for clients such as BMW, MTN, Omo, Mercedes Benz, Steers, Nandos, Sunlight, HBO, FedEx, GE, and New Balance.
He has won a number of awards, including 22 Cannes Lions. He also features regularly in D&AD, Clios and One Show. In 2008 Matthew judged the radio category at Cannes.
