Amy Bishop is a young designer graduating with an interest in editorial design and branding. She wishes to gain further experience as a designer focusing specifically on editorial and layout design.
Amy likes working with simple design elements leaving a clean crisp design, with white space playing a large part in her designs. White space is every designer’s best friend.
In her final year Amy spent a lot of time communicating with clients and working with designers. Communication is key for design success. It has given her skills that will help once starting “in the real world”.
Her graduate collection consists of a magazine for the fashion buyer; unMask. It is an array of colours to represent the need for print designers in the fashion industry. Along with this there is the Textiles degree show branding; Opus, which means work in Latin. Amy has also collaborated with Sophie Crawford to create the Graphics/Illustration degree show and D&AD booklet, a small collection of everyone’s work to showcase them into the industry. Lastly a self-branding project which will help her make her footsteps into the industry.
