Adam Morse is an award winning British-born filmmaker, actor, writer, disability advocate, and public speaker. Adam started his career as a performer on stage doing musical theater in 2008, only one year later he suffered irreversible blindness after being diagnosed with the rare incurable mitochondrial condition LHON (Leber's Hereditary Optic Neuropathy). Morse spent the following four years between 2009-2013 on a spiritual journey of self-discovery and reinvention before emerging on the scene in the film industry as a writer/director with his critically acclaimed short film debut 'The Window' in 2014, it screened at the Cannes Film Festival and received multiple honors at other festivals, including the Audience Award for 'Best Short Film' at the London Independent Film Festival. Morse’s feature directorial debut ‘Lucid’ (starring Billy Zane & Sadie Frost) was released on Amazon Prime Video in 2020, the indie psychological thriller was nominated for the prestigious 'Michael Powel Award' at the 72nd Edinburgh International Film Festival in 2018 and went on to win 'Best Director' at the Gold Movie Awards in 2019. Morse made headlines as a blind actor in 2021 by becoming a “Blind Action Star” (New York Post) for performing his own stunts whilst appearing in a recurring role in the Apple TV+ show ‘See’ (starring Jason Momoa). Adam walked the runway as a model at London Fashion Week 2022, advocating diversity for inclusive fashion brand Differently Enabled. Morse founded the non-profit organization Crystal Vision Foundation in 2023 to support artists with disabilities break into the entertainment business. Adam works actively as a public speaker, participating in panels and performing motivational speeches on big stages such as; Dubai Expo, GITEX, Meta Entertainment World Summit, Greenwich University, and many more. Morse has also been prolific as a creator in advertising directing high-end commercials for major brands such as; Google, Puma, McLaren, and GSK. In 2024 Morse was archived into the Museum of Modern Art in New York after winning the AICP award for "Best New Director', he was recognized for shooting the viral Superbowl commercial for Google Pixel that has been watched over 50 million times on YouTube and was hailed by People Magazine as "The most heartfelt". Adam is now developing a slate of film/TV projects with his company Hollyfield Productions and is attached to direct a number of highly anticipated movies including a Sci-Fi Comedy being produced by media mogul Ted Field and Radar Pictures. Variety announced in late 2024 that Adam is set to star in a documentary about his unique journey that is due to commence production in 2025. Adam was recently honored by the Disability Power 100 in the Visual Arts category, being celebrated as one of the 100 most influential people with disabilities creating social impact with their work. Morse is currently being considered for "BAFTA Breakthrough Brit" and is also working as celebrity ambassador for the RNIB (Royal National Institution for the Blind).
