Cristiana Boccassini was born and raised in Rome. After studying architecture at La Sapienza University of Rome, she decided to design ads instead of building houses.
The first job offer she accepted took her to JWT in Milan, where she started as an Art Director. In just a few years, she became Head of Art and then Executive Creative Director working on international clients such as Heineken, Coca-Cola, Kraft, Mazda, Nestlé and Unilever.
In January 2011, Cristiana joined Publicis Italy as Executive Creative Director together with her creative partner Bruno Bertelli. In their first year, they were named members of the International Creative Board of Publicis Worldwide. Two years later, they were appointed Global Creative Directors on the global Heineken account after winning substantial new business for the network.
Cristiana is the only Italian female creative who achieved international recognition winning several awards including a Grand Clio, a New York Festival Grand Prix and 53 Cannes Lions.
