Neil Baron

Since Graduating in 1996 from Northumbria University, Neil has spent the last 18 years working with more than 50 different clients. He has worked for In-house for large corporations, for several design Consultancies, as a freelance design director, and has created his own fashion brand, manufacturing and retailing his own products. He has designed products as diverse as the Dualit ‘Lite’ toaster, sex toys for durex, bicycles for Schwinn, Footwear for Dr Martens and received a 2015 Gold IF award on for the Kolon Life-Tech jacket.
His career began in Stockholm designing concept products for Electrolux. He returned to the UK 3 years later to work for Seymour Powell in London working with product, FMCG and transport.
For the next 5 years He lived in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam working as a freelance design director for Brands including Helly Hansen and Pele Sports. During the same period he also founded and ran his own fashion retail business.
Since returning to London 3 years ago Neil has worked as a Lead Creative back at Seymourpowell. He enjoys considerable freedom to move across the disciplines and specializes in ‘front end’ concept work and design direction.
