Growing up, Junichi was fascinated with Japanese Shrines. It is believed that sacred spirits take the form of things and concepts important to life, such as rain, trees, and fertility. They live in harmony and helped build Japan. This thinking of building a better Japan and living in harmony is at Junichi's core. He places importance on touching peoples' hearts and giving them hope for tomorrow. This can be seen in his Re-branding work for a renown Japanese restaurant chain, mascot development for a Professional Japanese Baseball Team, and package design for beverage marketed all over the world.
Lastly, Junichi has won numerous awards from D&AD Award, Cannes Lions, New York ADC Award, CLIO, and ONE SHOW to name a few.
