Juliet Bishop

Juliet is Executive Producer and Partner at Good Oil. After graduating with an arts-law degree majoring in English, Juliet completed a research exchange to the UN with postings in Edinburgh and Jerusalem. A journalism degree and a passion for producing documentaries led Juliet to join the film industry. Juliet travelled the silk road through the Middle East, the spice road through India, and the salt road through South America. With 62 countries stamped in her passport, Juliet traded backpacking trips for work trips producing campaigns for Good Oil.

As EP, Juliet has spent the last fifteen years helping Good Oil earn recognition as BestAds No.1 Australian Production Company (2021), BestAds No.1 Global Production Company (2020), B&T Production Company Of The Year (2019), and CICLOPE No.1 Asia Pacific Production Company of the Year (2019). She has served on the judging panel for AWARD and is an AWARD Council Member. Juliet has also joined with other producers to set-up and co-chair Australia's Commercial Producers Council.

Juliet produced “Running to America” with Screen Australia, documenting young Indigenous men from the outback training to compete at the New York Marathon. She also developed and secured ongoing funding for The Marathon Project, which continues to train and facilitate indigenous runners to compete in New York.
