Matt Roberts is the lead digital and UX designer at Sightsavers, a charity that protects sight and fights for disability rights across Africa and Asia. He is also co-chair of the BIMA inclusive design council, which inspires and supports the wider UK digital industry to create experiences that enable everyone to participate equally in the digital world.
As a keen advocate for accessibility and inclusive design, Matt is known for contributing to best-practice guides for digital agency Econsultancy, as well as using his professional network to influence design for good. Having spoken and written articles such as ‘Being a colourblind designer’ for Creative Review he often shares personal experiences to help audiences see things from a different perspective.
In 2024, he self-initiated the Inclusion Calendar project to showcase key events and guide professionals towards information on this important aspect of design.
