Rebecca Skinner is a Founder and Managing Director of Superprime Films. Her career in production began at RSA Films and later she joined HSI Productions, where she launched HSI's music video division, Mars Media. Working with renowned directors and recording artists such as Beyoncé, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Jay-Z, Madonna, Taylor Swift, and Pharrell Williams, Rebecca's expertise helped transform the company into a global powerhouse for music videos.
In 2015, Rebecca partnered with Michelle Ross to co-found Superprime Films. As a women-owned production company, Superprime Films represents a number of acclaimed directors including Martin Scorsese, Chloé Zhao, Terrence Malick, Yorgos Lanthimos, and Damien Chazelle. With a focus on creating unique filmmaking experiences for agencies and brands worldwide, Superprime has been recognized as one of Ad Age's Top Production Companies of the Year for two consecutive years.
Rebecca executive produced a virtual reality project directed by Terrence Malick, which premiered at SXSW and Tribeca Film Festival in 2018. In 2019, she served as the Film Craft Jury President at Cannes Lions. In 2022, Rebecca Executive Produced “Bleat”, a short film by Yorgos Lanthimos starring Emma Stone for the Greek National Opera which will have its North America debut at the 2023 New York Film Festival.
