Gordon Reid started Middle Boop in 2008 straight out of university when he began creating artwork for bands he was touring with. Since then, he has moved the studio to North London and has worked for agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi, JWT, McCann, Publicis and Grey London and built up a client list including Google, Adidas, BBC, Toyota, HSBC, Visa, Red Bull, Sony, EMI, 4AD, Mogwai and Warp Records.
His work has been shown worldwide at galleries in Los Angeles, New York, London and Berlin and he speaks at conferences all over the world including Adobe New York, OFFF Barcelona, FITC Amsterdam, Grafik's Letterform Live series, Glug, D&AD and The London Design Festival at the V&A. he also lectures at universities across the UK, occasionally writes for the likes of Computer Arts and Design Week, and has sat on judging panels for D&AD, Cannes Young Lions and Creative Circle.
His recent side hustle Weird World Cup beermat project gained global recognition, selling the beermats all over the world, earning thousands for charity and even being recognised by Crystal Palace, the team he has supported his whole life.
