Julia Leckey is the Founder of Honest, Chief Innovation Officer for Principle, an ambassador for cancer charity Future Dreams and an aspiring author.
She is an entrepreneur and an innovative and creative thinker, experienced working at the highest level for many of the world’s most recognisable brands from Porsche, Unilever, Nokia, Vodafone, Tesco, Rolls Royce, Virgin, Waitrose, HSBC, Lloyds, Change Please and many more. Julia works closely with clients to unlock the potential of their brands and enjoys turning ideas into action to create new omni-channel business models.
Following a successful career as a director at FITCH, part of WPP, Julia established EDGE in 2006. Alongside her business partner, she grew the agency into a multi-million pound business with over 65 people. At 40 she sold her 50% shares to begin a new venture.
Julia formed her second company, The Honest Brand, in 2014. Since 2020, Honest has been a fully-owned part of Principle, a global brand and implementation consultancy built on the belief that powerful, well-implemented brands are instrumental in realising vision and creating growth.
Julia has a passion for writing and launched her first novel, Colourful Creatures in 2021. It was illustrated by Marie-Julie Trijasson and the audiobook was narrated by actress Charlie Brooks. She’s currently writing the second in the Colourful Creatures trilogy and a non-fiction book called, ‘Be more wild’.
Julia is endlessly curious about the world and new ways of thinking and doing business. A speaker, an innovator and a born networker, Julia strives to get the best out of the people she is working for and with.
