An anti-racism activist, Sherry launched #AssumeNothing in 2018, the campaign highlighting the racism Black women have faced when attending the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity each year. The campaign was reported by various news outlets, including the BBC.
In 2019 Sherry launched Pitch Our Stories to inspire and mentor new adland talent. In April 2020, Sherry launched, Life Lessons Learned, charting her journey from her early years growing up in Jamaica, age 6 to 13, and her time in adland years later.
Sherry publishes a special issue of her magazine in September, Pitch Cool or Pitch Mavericks, championing super brands and community leaders who are doing good for their communities and the world. This year’s issue will be a Jamaican Pitch Mavericks, Part 1, special.
