Working in an agency environment for the last 15 or so years, Jon is currently Creative Director, Technology at OgilvyOne, heading up the Creative Technology department.
First and foremost a creative, Jon sits in the creative department and comes up with ideas. But he's also technical, which means he can create the stuff he dreams up too.
He's spent the past 15 years creating products and doing software development in just about every programming language going, is into electronics and really likes to make stuff. All this allows him to quickly prototype ideas before presenting them to clients, rather than sketching things. He injects technology into the conceptual phase, working closely with Copywriters, Art Directors and other creatives to come up with something fresh.
Recently, Jon came up with the Cannes Lion Grand Prix winning "The Magic of Flying" outdoor campaign for British Airways, where children reacted to planes flying overhead.
A tinkerer, maker and someone who's really into creating products and prototypes that bridge the physical to digital realm, Jon's passionate about connected devices and the "Internet of Things".
