Dhiya Rahman

Dhiya is currently an adjunct lecturer at LASALLE College of the Arts under the Faculty of Design. Besides teaching, he facilitates and runs workshops for a design lab named UNIT, established under the Faculty. He is also one of the founding partners of STUDIO SWELL formerly known as SUSEJ, a Graphic Design studio based in Singapore.
His interests lies in the intersections of art, design, science and technology. His works explores the areas of visual communications, art practices, DIY approaches, material explorations, open source cultures and is process driven.
Dhiya often makes objects and structures, frequently works with the Media Lab department at LASALLE, enjoys leading workshop based practicums, occasionally VJ's with audio-reactive visuals built on custom softwares and hardwares as well as design, conceptualise, build and shape surfboards under the label T.H.P.G.
