Kartik Iyer is CEO & Cofounder of Happy in Bangalore, India. Founded in 2007, Happy today is one of the most respected independent agencies in the country.

As a little known agency in 2009, Happy was responsible for successfully launching the cult fashion brand Diesel in India. In more recent times, Happy's work behind creating India's leading e-commerce brand flipkart.com, is treated with high acclaim in the sub-continent. Kartik's 'postcard' commercial for Incredible India is a piece that's widely known and enjoyed across the world. Under his leadership, Happy has created more than 5 brands that didn't exist before, all of who have become leaders in their areas of business.

Having started his career in 1996 as a copywriter, Kartik has worked at agencies including Y&R Dubai & Ogilvy India. Since then he has delivered high impact creatives on brands like Diesel, Ford, Land Rover, Worldspace Radio, Lee, Maiyas foods, Basics Life and Flipkart.com, amongst others.

Kartik has had his fair share of awards spanning shows like D&AD, Cannes, New York Festivals, Asia Pacific Ad-fest, Effies and the Abbys.
