Kelly Anna is an artist and print designer, she started her journey as an artist very young, growing up with a father who was an artist himself, but she got her major break when she was commissioned by London Fashion Week as an illustrator whilst she was studying fashion illustration at university. After multiple seasons of illustrating for London Fashion Week she got a job as the Head of Print at a fashion house. It was then that she saw her brand expand with huge celebrity names wearing her prints including Cara Delevingne, Beyoncé and London Grammar.
In recent years Kelly has created a vast and diverse body of work. She has designed trainers with Nike, painted murals (14 to be precise), curated exhibitions, taken over buildings, and even embellished popcorn packets.
Alongside her work Kelly has spoken at 15 of the biggest Art & design festivals across the globe, most notably being a headline act at USBYNIGHT in Antwerp and GDFS in Scotland.
Her work stands out due to its empowering messages, with themes of female empowerment and powerful slogans. She describes her work as lots of vibrant colour palettes and bold graphics, mixed with fluid mark-making and abstract collage. The influence of Matisse and Hockney are shown through her punchy blend of dominant female figures and sunshine colours.
