Toshi is a senior typeface designer at Monotype. He graduated from Visual Communication Design course at Musashino Art University in Tokyo in 2008 and MA Typeface design at University of Reading in UK in 2011. He has designed modern revivals of classic typefaces such as Metro Nova, Neue Haas Unica, Albertus Nova, and Wolpe Pegasus, as well as new custom typefaces for Premier League, H&M, and Sir Quentin Blake. Toshi is also a specialist in many different writing systems such as Cyrillic, Greek, Arabic, Tibetan, and Mongolian.
