Jan Jacobs is co-founder and CCO of Johannes Leonardo in New York – one of AdAge’s 2016 ‘A-list’ agencies. Johannes Leonardo’s clients include adidas, Google, Coca-Cola, NBC, MassMutual and more.
Prior to starting Johannes Leonardo, Jan worked at Ogilvy, Saatchi & Saatchi, Y&R and TBWA, across 3 continents.
He has won many major industry awards – most prominently the Grand Prix at Cannes twice, Cannes Agency of the Year, the Grand Clio, and four Grands Prix in his native South Africa. Jan has been on AdAge’s ‘Creativity 50’ list twice and has produced one of the 20 most loved Super Bowl commercials of all time. His work has also won effectiveness awards in every country he’s worked.
Jan lives in Manhattan with his wife Amber and a bunch of kids.
