A skilled strategic and creative thinker, John leads the creative on some of FITCH’s most large-scale and industry recognised retail projects. Most recently, his work for Hamleys in Russia and luxury children’s department store Level Kids in Dubai were awarded International Store Design of the Year at the Retail Week Interiors Awards in 2015 and 2016 respectively. Hamleys ‘Worlds of Play’ also won Store Design of the year at the World Retail Awards in 2015.
Working across categories and markets, other clients have included Disney, Dixons, Tesco, Arcelik and Beko, Vodafone, Liberty, Orange, Harrods, Sainsbury’s and UAE mobile provider Du.
Recently, he was published in The Guardian, delivered a keynote at Dubai Lynx, and judged the D&AD New Blood Awards.
John previously worked for strategic design consultancy 20/20 on a variety of on a variety of large-scale retail and leisure projects in the UK and Ireland.
