Francesca is an independent Book and Graphic Designer.
She studied Product and Textile Design and completed a MA in Communication Design at Polytechnic of Milan. She was fortunate enough to be able to work and live in four different countries: Italy, India, Finland and settled in the UK in 2010 where she gained an MA in Book Design at Reading University. Here, she started her new career path as a Book Designer and Typesetter working for publishers such as the British Library, Head of Zeus and more.
Her approach to design has been shaped through the years by her passion for Nordic style, which she combines with a personalised touch for each project.
Her projects have included Brand Identities, Packagings, Exhibitions, Textile Design, Type Design, Complexity Design, Publications, Editorial Design and Book Binding. Some of her projects have been published in books as ‘Visual Complexity’ by Manuel Lima, published by Princeton Architectural Press in 2011, ‘Italic 2.0 - Contemporary type design in Italy’, promoted by Aiap and published by DeAgostini in 2008 and ‘Graphic Design School’ 7th ed. published by Thames & Hudson in 2020.
