Born in China, Xiaowei Zhang is the Design Director and Partner of the cross-media agency BLACKBOW and the Founder of 33 and Branding.
With expertise in graphic design, branding, packaging, multimedia, and immersive experiences, he is highly regarded for his innovative work that integrates traditional and popular culture.Notably, he was invited to serve as the Visual Effects Director for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics opening ceremony and played a significant role in designing the Olympic main torch.
His work has been celebrated globally, earning him over 200 prestigious awards in top international design festivals, including D&AD, NY ADC, CLIO, Pentawards, Cannes Lions, AWARD, One Show, 3x3, DIELINE, Graphis, MAD STARS, CA, A'Design and many others.
In addition to his creative work, he judging at the the NY ADC and Graphis.
