Kamen began his career within the visual effects industry back in 2000 in Bulgaria. As a Flame Artist he spent the formative years of his career honing his craft on music video, commercial and installation projects.
Striving for bigger challenges and more prospects he left for Mexico in 2004 where he worked with an impressive list of creative talent, including the likes of Fred Clapp, Jorje Aguilera and Oliver Castro.
He joined the MPC team in London in 2010. Since then he established himself as one of the company’s leading VFX Supervisors within commercials and worked on numerous high profile and award-winning campaigns including Visa, Vodafone, Audi, Carlsberg, Sony, Cravendale and John Lewis among many others. As a Visual Effect Supervisor & Senior Flame Artist, Kamen collaborated with some of the film and advertising industry’s most revered directing and creative talent such as Traktor, Sam Brown, Daniel Kleinman, Jonathan Glazer and Seb Edwards.
Among the many international awards and recognition his projects received are the 2019 VES Award for Outstanding Visual Effects in a Commercial for John Lewis "The Boy and the Piano", an Eurobest Gold and an APA Showcase Diamond for Cravendale’s "Cat's with thumbs", an APA Showcase Diamond for John Lewis "Tribute to Givers", APA Collection Diamond for Cravendale’s "Milk Me Brian". His work is also honoured in Latin America with numerous awards from Mexico and Argentina.
