Born and raised in Peckham, South London, from an Egyptian father and a Scottish mother, Fouad has been heavily influenced by his culturally diverse surroundings from a young age.
He found his way into editing through music videos, notably winning Best Editing at the UKMVAs for his work on Chaka Khan’s 'Like Sugar' 2019 music video directed by Kim Gehrig and more recently editing James Blake's 'Big Hammer' video directed by Oscar Hudson, that has earned him one of his first D&AD pencils.
Fouad has worked on many acclaimed campaigns such as the Channel 4 2023 Idents, The Harris Project directed by Daniel Wolfe and Nike's 'Awaken your Madness' directed by Sam Pilling.
He has also worked with many other brands such as Apple, Fifa, Calvin Klein, Adidas, Pinterest, Ebay and Beats to name a few, and music videos for artists such as Mura Masa, A$AP Rocky, Elton John, Jorja Smith, Slowthai and Christine & the Queens.
Fouad was named Editor of The Year at the 2023 Shots EMEA awards.
He also recently made his first big step into the narrative world by editing Medusa Deluxe, a feature film directed by Thomas Hardiman which was released by Mubi and A24.
Fouad is repped by Cabin in the UK & US.
He spends his time between London and Barcelona.
