David Lane studied design at Central Saint Martins college in London. He is an award winning Creative Director and the founder of Lane + Associates. Alongside L+A he is the creative director of Frieze, one of the worlds leading arts organisations, and of the food, art’s and culture journal The Gourmand, which he co-founded in 2012.
He has had the privalage of judging numerous industry awards and has been invited to speak at design seminars and conferences around the world. His work has been covered in publications such as The Guardian, Le Mond and Di Zeit and exhibited globally, including at the Design Museum in London.
He is a contributing editor to ES magazine, and a writer has contributed to publications such as New York, Apartamento, i–D and Esquire. As a visiting lecturer he has taught at some of the worlds most esteemed arts institutions including Central Saint Martins, ECAL and the London College of Fashion.
