Hokuto Ando is a designer and co-founder of we+, a contemporary design studio based in Tokyo, The studio aims to gives form to new perspectives and values through unique production methods and means of expression, developed on the basis of extensive research and experimentation.
Born in 1982, Yamagata Prefecture in Japan, and graduated from Central Saint Martins in UK. Focusing on digging up and rebuilding value, he works across multiple fields ranging from concept development and strategic design to spatial / installation / product / furniture direction and design. His design skills have earned him many awards, domestically and internationally. He also teaches at Musashino Art University.
