Ciro is currently Chief Creative Officer of Dieste USA, an award-winning multicultural agency and 1 of the Top-3 U.S. Latin agencies within Omnicom. He is also the president of the USA Hispanic Creative Circle, the 20+ conglomerate of Latin agencies in the country. With almost 20 years of experience in the U.S. as well as international experience in Latin America, Ciro’s work has been recognized in D&AD, Cannes, Clio, Facebook Awards, Effie, IAB, One Show and Latin American award shows through the years. He has also served as jury in festivals around the world.
Ciro began his career at Ogilvy & Mather Colombia and moved to North America in 2008 to work in LatinWorks as Creative Director. In 2012 he joined Leo Burnett Lapiz as Creative Director for Procter & Gamble and Kellogg’s Multicultural. In only a few months Ciro re-built the creative team to focus on developing award-winning work that made an impact in the USA Latin culture, such as the first ever bilingual Rolling Stone Magazine in the United States.
In summer of 2013, he joins Dieste as Executive Creative Director in charge of all the agency’s clients including AT&T, Miller Lite, Hershey’s, Goya Foods, Dallas Pets Alive and others. For his high creative standards and leadership he was selected “One Latin creative you should know in U.S.” by Digiday. He took the role of Chief Creative Officer in February 2016. Ciro loves to continue his vision by offering talks & workshops around the world promoting creativity, diversity and culture intelligence.
